Dr. Ladd McNamara shares his ideas about the Future of Medicine

Ladd McNamara, M.D. is an internationally-known author and speaker on the subject of how nutritional supplementation can be used to help maintain better health and reduce the incidence of disease. Dr. McNamara writes and speaks about the importance of moving towards a healthier lifestyle: regular exercise, healthy low-glycemic eating, high quality, full-spectrum nutritional supplementation, restorative sleep, reduction of stress, bio-identical hormone replacement when necessary, and developing a passion for life and service to others.

Dr. Ladd McNamara was trained in traditional medicine, and supports most of its views and miraculous advancements. However, during the time Dr. McNamara practiced medicine in Atlanta, Georgia as a board certified ob/gyn, he was introduced to the very real effects on his patients with various health concerns after using pharmaceutical-grade quality nutritional supplements. He learned that prescription medications were not always the best, and certainly not necessarily the first line of defense for optimizing patients’ health. Certainly, there are situations where medications and surgery are necessary, however, many times simple lifestyle changes, including the incorporation of a daily full-spectrum vitamin, mineral, antioxidant, and omega-3 fatty acid regimen can make such a difference that medications may be avoided or discontinued. (Please note: Do not change or discontinue medications without consulting with your own personal physician.)

Ladd McNamara, M.D. was raised in San Diego, California, which is where he now resides. He retired from the practice of medicine in December 2003 in order to pursue a worldwide impact extolling the science of how nutritional supplements affect cellular health, and in turn affect the presence of health and absence of disease. Dr. McNamara has aligned himself with the world leader in nutritional supplement research, development, and manufacturing. He is proud to be an ambassador for true health, and represent a company of integrity and dedication to alleviate the suffering from chronic disease and premature death.

Dr. Ladd McNamara received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. McNamara has conducted research in infertility as well as cancer, with both endeavors resulting in publications in prestigious medical journals. He grew human cells in the laboratory and witnessed the toxic effects of many chemicals on human DNA. Dr. McNamara’s focus now is to help prevent toxic exposure and resulting disease.

Dr. Ladd McNamara has always enjoyed sharing his knowledge and expertise in service to others. During his residency program in Washington, D.C., Ladd McNamara, M.D. received the “Resident of the Year” award as well as “Teaching Resident of the Year.” He continues to educate others on the dangers of certain medications and healthier alternatives.

In 1995, Dr. Ladd McNamara became associated with USANA Health Sciences, Inc. as an independent representative. USANA Health Sciences, Inc. is the manufacturer of high quality nutritional supplements and personal care products. It was founded in 1992 by Dr. Myron Wentz, who is dedicated to alleviating suffering. Dr. McNamara has found his role with USANA to help educate others on wise and healthy ways to optimize their health.

An example of Dr. Ladd McNamara’s passion to educate others is his campaign that started in 1999 to warn patients, the public, and colleagues about the dangers and dubious benefits of cholesterol-lowering statin drugs. He has written many books, created audio CD’s and videos that raise the question about the use of statin drugs to lower LDL cholesterol. His most recognized book is “The Cholesterol Conspiracy.” Please search the topic of “oxidized LDL” or “statin drugs” on this website, or see Dr. McNamara’s other websites to learn more about this critical topic. My son was at a treatment facility where I refused risperdal for his behavioral issues, mostly around electronics. I found Lithium Orotate, and his behavior is getting better. Now he will talk about the problem before getting aggressive. He has Asperger’s. I liked your article about Lithium Orotate and Autism. I’m hoping I can get my son do a better state of mind and going to school again.

Hello Dr Ladd McNamara; You are my “Rock Star” and told you so this past friday at a private reception for you in Geneva, Illinois. I appreciate all the autographs you kindly gave me and the very special one given to my USANA partner, Annette. You are my mentor and have done this through all of your works and stories of your reputation. I quietly build my belief in all that I do to help others. However, at times, having some ono-on-one time, which I am expecting to do something in return of value, would help me serve others better. 630.327.4672 is my cell number if you will grant me personal access to you. Dean is a person who is part of my brain trust and will serve as a character reference for me. Kindly and warmly, Anthony.
